Here is your chance to experience marriage in a far deeper way. Burry's Church is hosting the Christian Couple's Seminar on Friday April 21 and Saturday April 22, 2006. Greg and Connie Brezina will be the seminar speakers. Greg and Connie will share successful marriage principles with practical examples from their 36 years of marriage and from a quarter century of counseling and ministering to individuals, couples, and families.

Love and marriage is a wonderful and satisfying relationship when properly nurtured. The secret to having a biblically successful marriage is abiding in Christ. Jesus says in John 15:5, “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

To maintain a successful relationship, couples need special times together. Just as winning sport teams use their time-outs wisely to be refreshed and strengthened to go on to victory, so too all married couples need special times of renewal. This principle can be seen in Jesus' words, "Come away by yourselves... and rest awhile."

The Christian Couple’s Seminar provides an opportunity for you and your spouse to take an important time-out, have a date away from the demands of daily living, and be biblically encouraged and strengthened in your marriage relationship. Dramatization and personal stories make the weekend interesting and fun to attend. Couples attend five sessions together and two separately. Thoughtful listening is encouraged with time given for questions and answers; however, open sharing with the group is not required.

If you would like to be biblically encouraged and strengthened in your marriage relationship, then take a day away from the demands of daily living and join Greg and Connie at Burry's Church, 1835 Route 68,Rochester, Pa. (2.6 miles west of Zelienople) from friday evening(April 21) to Saturday afternoon (April 22).

The registration fee is $17.50 per person, $35.00 per couple (after April 2nd, the fee will be $20.00 per person $40.00 per couple). A limited number of scholarships are available for those unable to afford the fee. For further information, please call Pastor Mike at (724) 452-6941 or (724) 766-1133. Registration includes your personal workbook, Friday evening supper, Saturday lunch, and refreshments throughout the seminar schedule. Child care will be provided for all sessions.
